The Great American Gypsies are featured at Chovy's Restaurant in Meadville, PA, located just off of Interstate 79.   If you are traveling on the Interstate some Saturday, why don't you hop off at the Meadville exit and visit Chovy's?   In addition to the great music, you'll get some great Italian food!

The Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra will be performing at the Friendship Village Retirement Community in Bridgeville.   This is a private performance for members of the retirement community only.

The Three Rivers Mandolin Consort will be performing at the Victoria Vaudeville Theatre in Wheeling, WV.   The Victoria was built in 1904, and was restored to its former glory in 1995.   Come see a live vaudeville show in a beautiful setting.   Showtime starts at 7:00 p.m.

The Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra will be holding their dress rehearsal for the concert at the German Club.   Dress rehearsals are free and open to the public.   While you'll miss out on the great food and beer that will be available at the concert, you'll still get to hear some great mandolin music.   The dress rehearsal is being held at the Vincentian Regency Retirement Home in McCandless - visit their website at www.vincentiansrspgh.org/sitemap.html for directions.

The Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra will be headlining a dinner show at the historic Teutonia Männerchor German Club on the North Side of Pittsburgh.   Tickets are $25 each, and include some of the finest German and American food you will ever taste in addition to some of the best mandolin music you will ever hear!   If you can't wait for Oktoberfest, this is the show for you!   Call (412) 257-0670 for ticket information.   Ticket price does not include beer.

The members of our Ventana Breeze quintet will be partnering with Pittsburgh's Folk Music Society, Calliope, at Rootz: The Green City Music Festival.   They will be performing there, and will also be conducting mandolin classes in the Children's Outreach tent.   This is a free event - check their website at www.calliopehouse.org/OtherEvents.htm for further details.
